Materiality plays a significant role in grounding the design, with an earthy and unrefined palette that echoes the contextual landscape.

The use of natural materials such as mud plaster, thatch and timber retains an authentic rawness, celebrating the vernacular construction techniques of pastoral communities. Additionally, the structures are designed to remain temporary, scalable and modular- a direct reflection of the adaptable, transient nature of pastoral architecture.
